Dmytro Krasnyi was born in 1985 in Makarov, Kyiv region. Dmytro works with graphics, photography, ceramics, collage, ready-made.  He graduated from the National Transport University in Kyiv, and then began to study art in the graphics studio of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

He participated in group exhibitions and had personal projects in Ukraine and abroad. In his practice, he addresses the topics of collective memory, rituals, and magical reality.

The most inspiring thing for me is visiting flea markets. There he finds items for future art objects and some old photos. You can see my archive here Private found archive.

︎In 2019 he received the Gaude Polonia scholarship, in the framework of this programme he studied at the University of the Arts, Poznań.
︎ In 2022 a participant of Vienna contemporary 2022.
︎ In 2022 he participated in the residency programme at the CCA Laznia, Gdansk

︎ In 2022 for 6 months he was the are artists in a Port Artistic Residency by MEWKA Foundation, Gdansk

︎ In 2023 he participated in 10. Triennale Młodych: Utrwalanie at Centrum Rzeźby Polskiej w Orońsku
